Semen, its meaning, function, tips and facts

Semen

What is semen?

Sperm are sperm cells that are released during ejaculation. The substance is often thick and sticky. Precum is often released before ejaculation. The color of semen varies individually and can vary from white to white-yellow. The sperm cells resemble tadpoles. The sperm cells are produced in the testicle and the epididymis serves as a storage place for the sperm cells. When an orgasm occurs, around 3 milliliters of semen is usually ejaculated. This may contain as many as 300-350 million sperm cells. They are so microscopic that one drop can contain up to 120 million sperm cells. Of the total, approximately 10% are sperm cells. The remaining 90% consists of seminal fluid and seminal vesicles added from the prostate.

The route of sperm

When ejaculation occurs, sperm cells are launched from the epididymis into the vas deferens. The sperm cells then pass through the prostate and seminal fluid is also added to the semen. After this, the sperm is for ejaculation through the urethra. The ureter that also runs to the urethra is clamped closed and then ejaculation can take place without the addition of urine. Cum is ejaculated during orgasm at speeds of up to 45 kilometers per hour!

Temperature of semen

Men's balls often hang below the body at a reasonable length. This is not without reason. An ideal temperature of 33 to 34 degrees is needed to produce sperm. The scrotum also contains a muscle that can regulate the distance from the body and thus also the internal temperature of the scrotum. This ensures that favorable conditions for sperm production are guaranteed. By hanging the balls lower they can cool down and by pulling them they can warm up. The body is a wonderful machine!

Quality of semen

The quality of sperm depends on several factors. The quality of is assessed based on 3 factors. The number of sperm cells in the semen, the motility, the shape of the sperm cells in the semen.
A man is of course at risk of infertility due to his genes, but men also have a great influence on the quality of the sperm through living conditions. Because, as we have read before, sperm cells remain optimal at temperatures of approximately 33 to 35 degrees, it is important that they do not overheat. Cooks, for example, are at risk of infertility because they often stand close to the stove with their testicles. Excessive sauna visits, for example, are also not beneficial for sperm cells. Anabolic steroids can lead to infertility in men and a reduction in quality. Being overweight can also reduce testosterone and therefore sperm quality. In addition, alcohol use, smoking and drugs also have a negative effect on quality. Stress also plays a major role in sperm quality. However, there are also ways to increase sperm quality! A healthy diet cannot improve sperm quality alone, especially fruits and vegetables. In addition, regular strength training increases testosterone and thus sperm production. In general, it can be said that an unhealthy lifestyle leads to a reduction in sperm quality and a healthy lifestyle leads to an increase in quality.

Freeze sperm

By freezing the sperm cells are in principle stored. The sperm cells are stored in liquid nitrogen at a temperature of - 196°C. Men often have this done before they start chemotherapy to ensure the quality of the sperm cells. Often multiple ejaculations are frozen.

Promote sperm

As previously read, it is possible to improve the quality of sperm. A healthy lifestyle is crucial here. To maintain optimal sperm quality, it is important to eat healthy. Maintain a healthy weight, get enough exercise and not smoke and/or use drugs. Sperm cells take about three months to develop. So if you take the step to have children with a partner, it is advisable to live a healthy lifestyle at least three months in advance to ensure the quality of sperm.

Swallowing cum (what does semen taste like)

The taste of semen can vary depending on the food you eat. It seems that if you eat a lot of fruit, the taste of semen can taste like lukewarm sweet fruit milk. However, opinions are divided. A questionnaire asked women and men what describes the taste of semen. This resulted in some hilarious reactions. As you can see below, the responses vary considerably.

  • ''It tastes like chestnuts, bitter and nutty''.
  • ''The taste is like bitter and salty egg white''.
  • ''How do I think it tastes? To thin lukewarm snot'.
  • ''I think it has a buttery taste''.
  • "If you're lucky it will taste like a wheat beer."
  • ''I think semen tastes like salty balloons'
  • ''To slimy swimming pool water''

How do you get more sperm?

Most porn videos feature men having massive ejaculations with amounts of the stuff nowhere near that of the average man. This is often fake, but some men may feel insecure about the amount of semen released during an ejaculation and would like an ejaculation with more semen. Fortunately, we have some ways for you to achieve an ejaculation with more sperm!

  • The most effective way is simply to cum less. The moment of first ejaculation is a moment that stays with many men. A lot of semen was usually released there. The biggest difference, of course, is that you had never had an ejaculation until then. And this already indicates to what extent the frequency of ejaculation influences the amount of semen. So it helps to ejaculate less often and therefore masturbate less. Every time you ejaculate, the body has to produce sperm again. So save your ejaculation for when it matters! Namely when you have sex! This way you are assured of an ejaculation with a large amount of sperm if that is what you are looking for.
  • Make sure you drink enough water. It actually makes sense that your body needs water to produce sperm because it is a liquid and so you have to replenish it with water. For an ejaculation with sufficient sperm, it is therefore advisable to drink at least 2 liters of water. However, the more water you drink, i.e. 3 to 4 liters of water, the more you will produce during ejaculation. NB! You can also drink too much water, never drink that much water in one go, but spread it out in small sips throughout the day. So make sure you have a bottle of water nearby and fill it up during the day so you can keep track of how much you drink.
  • Provide the right building materials! To produce more sperm, your body needs other building materials in addition to water. The most important for sperm production are folic acid and zinc. According to scientific research, taking these two supplements can increase sperm production by 74%. Taking zinc is only useful if you also take folic acid. Otherwise it will not lead to increased sperm production because your body will not be able to process the zinc. The guidelines are approximately 1mg folic acid and 15mg zinc. But this is an excellent way to get more sperm!
  • To continue building on building materials for sperm production, protein is needed and is therefore the best building material for sperm production. There is even so much protein in semen that it could be consumed as a protein shake! It consists of 50% protein! The semen contains the sperm cells and the heads of these sperm cells are the ones that need the protein. Protein consists of amino acids and the most important ones for sperm production are L-arganine, L-carnitine and L-Lysine. The easiest way is to also take this in a nutritional supplement.
  • Of course it is always good to stop smoking, but if you want more sperm, that is certainly one of the things that is recommended. Smoking has a very bad influence on sperm production and also the quality of the sperm. It is also true that if you smoke as a father, a child can be born with medical problems, purely because of the sperm! Alcohol is also very bad for sperm production and quality. Alcohol dehydrates the body and as we have already learned, good fluid balance is extremely important for the production of sperm. So in order to produce a lot of ejaculation that is also of good quality, it is advisable to stop smoking and drinking or at least cut back.
  • Another important cause for a reduction in sperm count is stress. As we all know, stress is unhealthy. When we experience stress, we produce the hormone cortisol. This hormone is very bad for the body if it is chronic because it also inhibits testosterone production. And since testosterone is the male hormone, it plays an extremely important role in the production of sperm. Take moments of relaxation. A walk, yoga or meditation can help reduce stress during the day. Start tackling stress now and not only get healthy but also get that ejaculation with more cum you want!
  • The last tip for more sperm is exercise more! Sperm production depends on how well your body functions. Better blood circulation through exercise is very important for sperm production. Cardio in particular is good for better blood circulation, but with strength training you produce more testosterone, which in turn produces more sperm production. For optimal results, do both forms of exercise! Feel good and produce more sperm a win-win situation!

How long does sperm live?

Sperm cells can survive in the vagina, uterus and fallopian tubes for at least 72 hours. Sperm cells also remain fertile for 48 hours after ejaculation. If semen is not ejaculated, it is broken down and reabsorbed into the body after about a month.

Facts about sperm

The sperm cell was discovered by a Dutchman, Antoni van Leeuwenhoek. In 1677 he looked at his sperm under a microscope and saw enormous amounts of tadpoles moving, namely the sperm cells!
The furthest ejaculation is 6 meters, this special trick was performed by the American Horst Schultz.
